This new BLOG site has been established as a less congested forum for families displaced by the fires to communicate directly and confidentially about specific needs, and to easily access information that will help them with their move forward.  It is hoped that this will enhance our ability to get pertinent information to and from fire victims in an efficient manner, so that they are able to benefit from important information and assistance immediately as it becomes available.

It is our sincere hope that this will allow families to express needs in a simple, confidential manner, and that it will expedite the communication process so that families are made aware of opportunities and pertinent information more quickly.  Comments will be kept confidential, unless otherwise requested, and will be forwarded to our Rancho Bernardo Fire Relief Coordinator, Valerie Brown.

An additional BLOG site, http://togivebeautyforashes.wordpress.com , has been established as a forum for fire-displaced families from all over San Diego, as a way for us to be good stewards with all that is provided by the public to our Rancho Bernardo community, and to ensure that all fire-related needs may be expressed and addressed with available resources.

Please check our “westwoodvolunteercrews.wordpress.com” BLOG site for ways you can volunteer or contribute on behalf of all San Diego fire victims.  We hope that the new BLOG sites will allow as many as possible to participate and partake of the many opportunities and updates of specific interest to them.

Many sincere thanks for your help and continued support!  It is well appreciated.

Best regards,

Patti McClurg
